                              Tom Evans Vibe preamplifier $6,000
The Vibe Pre-Amplifier. This DC coupled preamp has five sets of stereo inputs one pair of record out and two pairs of outputs enabling up to four sets of mono power amps to be driven. The output stages are capable of driving 100 meters of cable! The output stage is relay protected and has DC detection and DC protection. The volume is controlled by a 24 step DACT attenuator with channel matching of plus/minus 0.05db, attenuation accuracy plus/minus 0.05db, THD 0.0001. The 5 way switch used for input switching comes from the defence industry. The latest Vibe preamps are powered by the Lithos 7

                            Pulse 2 Power Supply $4,950
The Pulse power supply provides the Vibe preamp with the ultimate in ultra low noise class A regulator technology. The transformer used to power the Pulse is designed and manufactured in house, it was developed to eliminate the R.F. (radio frequency, unwanted hash, sounds like glare) bleed on the supply rails ending up riding on signal paths. The sonic benefit of adding the Pulse to the Vibe is a very obvious increase in dynamic range and resolution coming from a black background.

Tom Evans Groove Phono $4,000 Groove X $4,725
This dual mono phonoamp uses one Lithos 7 regulator per side to supply power to each mono signal p.c.b. All resistors are Holco precision metal film, all silicon is of premium grade. The regulators are powered by a dual mono mains power supply. Since it’s launch in the UK it has become the industry standard. The Groove can be upgraded to the Plus spec. The Groove X has the cartridge pcb cnc milled into the rear panel with resistance and capacitance adjustments.

Tom Evans Groove Plus Phono amp $7,600   Groove Plus SRX $8,900

In this design the mains pcb has been replaced by the Lithos 6 a complex class A regulator
(as used in the pulse power supply) the outputs of this then feeds the dual mono Lithos 7’s on the signal pcb’s. The external mains supply box contains a 70 watt transformer
(designed and manufactured in house) that has an electostatic screen to remove any R.F. noise, then rectified, smoothed, and regulated before leaving the box and heading for Lithos 6. The ultra low noise and distortion of thes product provides the end user with the greatest possible dynamic range and resolution available.

The Groove Plus SRX is Tom Evans top flight phono amp, the SR stands for Super Resolution front end gain stages ( 50% reduction in front end noise and distortion over the standard Groove Plus ) the X is cartridge loading ( 9 resistors and 5 caps per channel ), with resistance and capacitance adjustments.

                       Tom Evans Microgroove phono $1,192
The Microgroove. The direct decendent of this phonoamp was the Michell ISO, this entry level to the high end phonoamp uses high grade silicon. The signal path is dc coupled, this is built as a stereo amp powered by standard industry voltage regulators, as with all Tom Evans phonoamps they can be configured to suit any moving coil/magnet cartridge. Hifi choice, maximum 5 star rating for sound. This can at a later date be upgraded to the plus.

Tom Evans Microgroove Plus phono $2,100
The Microgroove Plus. This stereo phonoamp has one of Tom Evans Lithos 7 class A regulators in place of the standard industry regulators. This greatly enhances the sound, lowers the noise floor, faster rising and falling edges of notes highlighting the spaces between them.

                                  Tom Evans Linear A $8,900
The Linear A is a Hybrid class A single ended stereo Poweramp. This amplifier is a new precision design with extremly low distortion. Although the Linear A is only rated at 25.2 watts p/c it is able to produce 150 decibels of dynamic range. The output transformers have been designed to produce real power into loudspeaker impedances of 5 ohms and above. Recomended loudspeaker sensitivity of 87 db or higher.
