Genesis 5.2c Over the past few years, the availability of excellent, high resolution, multi-channel music on DVD-A and SACD formats has grown tremendously. While we have been bemoaning the lack of good multi-channel releases and the format wars, the music labels have been quietly but steadily releasing more and more material using these two new formats. At the same time, universal disc players have improved tremendously in their overall qualities of musicality and fidelity. With the availability of technology and more importantly, material, Genesis made the decision that it was time to release a center speaker that is worthy of combining with a Genesis 1.1 to create the ultimate, absolute fidelity, multi-channel system. The Genesis 5.2c was developed to be the perfect convertible complement to any of the Genesis high-end loudspeaker systems as a center channel, or as a surround or rear channel. Premium Crown Rosewood/High Gloss Black Price: $4,200.

Genesis 7.1c When Genesis makes an affordable loudspeaker, you can rest assured that it will be absolute fidelity. To achieve the delicacy, speed, transparency, and bass response of the larger Genesis 3-way systems with a separate midrange in a 2-way system, we developed the world's first solid-titanium cone mid-woofer. This made the Genesis 7.1c possible - a monitor-sized loudspeaker that will fit into a tight environment. The Genesis 7.1c has been designed as a "convertible" loudspeaker - our lingo for an L/C/R: a loudspeaker that can be used as a stereo pair, a center channel, or a surround or rear channel. Rosewood/Maple or Olive Burl/Maple $3,200 pr. High Gloss Automotive $3,500 pr

The Genesis 6.1e is the solution for the customer who loves the fidelity and styling of the G6.1, but because of lifestyle considerations, requires a smaller loudspeaker, or a system that can be built in stages. Voiced as a absolute fidelity loudspeaker, the G6.1e has the same driver complement as the G6.1, but in a smaller cabinet, and without the built-in subwoofer with two 12-inch woofers and the servo-controlled bass amplifier. Designed to stand-alone as a stereo pair, or as a component of a high-end home theater, or multi-channel music system together with other models in the 6-Series, the G6.1e has spectacular imaging and soundstage, and works better in small rooms than the much larger G6.1. Rosewood/Maple or Olive Burl/Maple $6,000 High Gloss Automotive $6500.

New Genesis 2.2
This state-of-the-art system is designed to reproduce music at live listening levels with virtually no restrictions on dynamic range, frequency response, or width, breadth and height of soundstage. The Genesis 2 is commissioned, not simply bought off the shelf – it is custom-built in the USA for the most dedicated and discerning music-lovers worldwide.
The midrange/tweeter ‘wings’ are now made of solid cast acrylic up to 1½ inch (40mm) thick to make an even more inert baffle on which to mount the drivers. The geometry of the wings was revised for more controlled dispersion and better integration with the woofer towers.
The Servo-Controlled Bass Amplifier was completely redesigned. Taking advantage of the improved Servo-Bass Cable, the sensitivity and speed of the servo feedback control was increased. New Class D modules with zero propagation delay and higher current capability are used. Subtle changes in bracing reduced modal vibrations and boxy coloration in the woofer tower cabinet to practically zero. This resulted in even faster, more dynamic, and better-defined bass.
The G2 also features a unique suspension system so that it can be used on the many different types of floors encountered throughout the world – including natural stone tiles, slate, polished granite and marble, deep pile carpet, and suspended hardwood. Designed like the suspension system of a race car, steel spikes and an acrylic frame hold the loudspeaker rigidly and transfer any vibration to earth for best imaging and bass control. Neoprene shock absorbers make sure that vibrations from the floorboards do not get transmitted back up to the speakers. The result is cleaner, tighter bass, a more precise and holographic soundstage, and better imaging. $63,000
