Pure understatement:
the amplifier for the Connaisseur:
discrete, dynamic, natural, less than unobstrusive, tiny in fact; definitely not the unit for those that need to show off.
But stack it up against any amp whatever the size and the surprise will be inverse to its diminutive size...

So far, Resolution Series power amplifiers came as stereo units. When designed correctly, a 2-channel amplifier can perform superbly. Some applications, however, demand a single channel power amplifier. For these, the new FM 111 and FM 115 were developed.

The FM 111 employs full Resolution Series technology and uses the same advanced enhanced Class A stages and superb protection systems. It is the correct choice when ultimate signal reproduction in a single channel power amplifier is required.

FM ACOUSTICS products are designed to have no excessive size or weight, which the FM 111 shows in an exemplary manner. The FM 111 is small, efficient and self-contained. While its size is diminutive, its performance is definitely not!

The FM 111 can be placed next to the speakers or in any remote location (even when power is switched on remotely the FM 111 keeps all the features of delayed turn-on, all protection circuitry intelligence etc). Within 10 seconds it is fully operational and sounds perfect (unlike other power amplifiers that need a long warm up time).

The FM 111 is a dream come true for thousands who already own an FM 122 or an FM 155 (they have the same width) and for all those who require an efficient single channel power amplifier of Resolution Series sound and build quality.

Combining the FM 111 with the FM 122, FM 133, FM 155 it is possible to assemble a top class reproduction system that will far outperform anything costing up to three times the price (and up to five times the bulk and weight).

Input:
Proprietary electronically balanced discrete enhanced class A circuitry, floating ground, non- inverting or inverting mode. Optimal performance with either balanced or unbalanced (single-ended) sources. Unbalanced sources are automatically balanced right at the input of the FM 111.

Input Impedance:
At all level settings from balanced and unbalanced sources: 40 kOhms

Input Stage Common Mode Rejection:
90 dB typically, better than 80 dB at 50 Hz, even better at other frequencies.

Load Impedance:
No minimum impedance. The amplifier is designed for 1 Ohm to 10'000 Ohm systems. It can drive any speaker impedance (even below 1 Ohm) with dynamic (music) signals without any limiting, compression or other negative effects on the audio signal. Despite this, the amplifier is fully protected against short circuits, open circuits and all other adverse conditions via a unique onboard computer that continuously surveys all important parameters.
